New for 2008! The 1/2 pound Variety Pack. We realize that some of our customers have small lawns and gardens so we now offer a 1/2 pound Variety Pack. The 1/2 pound Variety Pack includes a 1/4 pound of Chesnok Red and a 1/4 pound of Susanville. A great choice for the gardener that wants a little variety in a small garden. The 1/2 pound Variety Pack will contain approximatley 12 cloves of Chesnok Red and 12 cloves of Susanville.

The Variety Packs contain four superb varieties for any gardener or chef.

• Chesnok Red is a beautiful Purple Stripe that keeps its strong garlic flavor even after cooking, a great addition to garlic mashed potatoes. Chesnok Red is an all around superior variety. 10-12 cloves per bulb. 50-60 cloves per pound. Mid harvest. 4-5 month storage. Hot
• Siberian is a Marbled Purple Stripe variety. Prized for its high content of allicin. This helps boost the immune system and improve circulation. Bulbs are smooth white with bold purple stripes. Siberian thrives in cold climates. 5 - 9 giant, easy to peel cloves.  35 - 40 cloves per pound. Mid to late harvest. 5 month storage. Mild
• Susanville is an Artichoke variety that has great garlic flavor, large purple skinned bulbs, and a long storage quality. A nice softneck garlic for braiding. 12-15 cloves per bulb. 60 - 75 cloves per pound. Early to mid harvest. 7 - 8 month storage. Medium
• Zemo is a Porcelain variety originating from the Republic of Georgia. The bulbs are a creamy white color with giant easy to peel cloves.  A spicy garlic flavor with medium to hot heat. 4 - 9 cloves per bulb. 30 - 40 cloves per pound. Late harvest. Stores 5 months. Hot
