Artichoke variety. An import from the Republic of Georgia, near the town of Tochliavri. Cultivated in a northern climate, Red Toch can handle cold winters. A favorite softneck variety of garlic expert; Chester Aaron. Garlic plant matures sooner then other artichokes. 12 - 20 cloves per bulb. 55 - 60 cloves per pound. Early harvest. Stores 5 - 6 months.
