We take great pride in growing garlic and strive to sell our customers the best organic garlic seed available. Dedicated to environmental sustainability we have always been organic and became Certified Organic by the Oregon Tilth in May, 2002. All of our garlic is grown at Hood River Garlic, from US garlic seed stock.

We are currently growing over 20 garlic varieties of gourmet hardneck and softneck garlic. Hood River Garlic's organic seed garlic is grown with care. From planting garlic to the garlic seed boxed up to send to our customers. We hand select our seed stock, plant garlic by hand and mulch by hand. When springtime comes we do all weeding by hand, pop all scapes by hand and harvest by hand. After our garlic is cured, the bulbs are hand cleaned to ensure that the organic garlic seed we send you is perfect.

Our seed stock is 100% USDA certified organic and US grown. For the 2008 July harvest we have added a few new varieties to our seed stock selection. See Buy Seed Garlic Here. All of our new seed stock comes from our friends in Washington. These new varieties are USDA certified organic by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and US grown. We have a commitment to our customers and we will never plant any seed stock grown outside the US or non-organic seed stock.

Current News 5-16-08 Martha Stewart has Hood River Garlic growing in her own garden! Hood River Garlic was featured on The Martha Stewart Show in November 2007. After the show, Martha planted the Hood River Garlic in her garden. Time for planting garlic is just around the corner! Preseason orders for our July 2008 harvest have begun! All preseason orders will be shipped starting in mid August 2008, after the garlic is harvested, cured and cleaned. Be sure to order your garlic planting stock early for the best selection.
